New Furniture Logistics with a Twist
Unusual Tables and a Move-In-Ready Office in Just 4 Days
We recently took on two projects focused on new furniture logistics. Both posed rather unusual challenges — which made them all the more interesting for us to tackle.
1. Transport and Assembly of 8 Optical Tables
Up to 1.3 tons — that’s how much a single optical table can weigh. These high-tech platforms are designed with a two-dimensional surface to keep optical systems mechanically stable and are commonly used in quantum optics experiments as a solid base for securing various components. For a university in Berlin, we handled both the transport and assembly of eight such tables.
2. Move-In Ready: An Office in 4 Days
A fully furnished office in record time — that was the goal of this project. In addition to delivering various pieces of furniture, Haberling also assembled 50 height-adjustable electric desks for the new workstations.
