Data protection

Secure destruction of files and data carriers in compliance with GDPR and DIN 66399. Regionally and nationwide.

Document Disposal and Data Destruction

Document disposal in compliance with DIN 66399

Documents and printouts are continually produced in businesses on a daily basis which contain private and confidential information. These documents must under no circumstances end up in the waste paper bin as they are subject to the strict rules stipulated in the General Data Protection Regulation. We therefore provide our customers with sealed secure containers in different sizes which can be used for confidential files.

When these secure containers are full, we transport them directly to the secure area of our premises in Berlin-Charlottenburg using our special purpose vehicles. The secure containers are only opened when they are safely in our secure area which is protected by camera surveillance and access controls. The material is taken directly into our state-of-the-art destruction facility where it is shredded in accordance with the strict guidelines specified by DIN 66399 protection class 3. The remaining material is then mixed up, pressed into paper bales and then used to make recycled paper. At the end of the disposal process, you will receive a certificate which confirms that your files have been destroyed in compliance with data protection regulations.

Data destruction in compliance with DIN 66399

Destroying data media such as hard discs, USB sticks and bank cards is best carried out physically to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. This is why we use high-performance shredders that destroy the data media in compliance with DIN 66399 protection class 3. We recycle any remaining material, thus reducing the impact on the environment. Similar to document disposal process, we also provide a certificate to confirm the data media has been destroyed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Our Security Containers

We use high-quality aluminium safety containers that comply with the DIN 66399 security level when destroying files and data media. The containers are available in different sizes to suit different types of use.

All safety containers have a disposal slot in the lid. You can choose from three different locking systems; the K series, the I series and the E series. You can even choose a type of safety container that comes with an integrated shredder unit (M series).

K Series – The Classic Version

The K series safety container includes an integrated locking system which can be supplied with a key if required. You can fill the containers using the disposal slot in the lid or you can open the container using the key if you need to.

I Series – The Innovative Version

The containers in the I series are fitted with a combination lock. Each safety container has a different lock combination which is easy to change if required.
You can then provide each department (accounts, HR or sales) with containers with different codes which enables you to decide which personnel in your company can open which locks.

E Series – The Electronic Version

The E series safety container is fitted with an electronic locking system which can be individually set using combinations of your choice. These containers can be located in different departments and you can also decide who are given their own separate codes in a similar way to the I series.

M Series – The Multifunctional Version

The M series safety container not only contains a slot in the lid for disposing general confidential information, it also contains an integrated shredder unit which is ideal for destroying documents that are particularly confidential or sensitive.
You can use any of these container types for all three DIN 66399 protection classes so there is no need to dispose of your documents in several different types of containers. An instruction label on the shredder unit explains the correct disposal method to your employees.
