Robert Haberling founded a haulier company with a horse and a cart back in 1907. The family business established itself quickly, expanded and survived two world wars despite being destroyed during aerial bombing.
The forwarding agent Dieter Kress took over the company in 1976 having started his career in the business as an apprentice in 1957. His nephew Martin Kress started at the company in 1988. Dieter and Martin jointly led the company until 2009 when Martin took over the management of the company was passed onto the next generation.
Haberling has been located in a newly constructed logistics centre in the district of Charlottenburg in Berlin since 1992. These premises have been continually developed and expanded.
Haberling is now an international logistics service provider with approximately 80 employees, a modern transport fleet and customers all over the world.
